COUSIN EDDIE

Cousin Eddie was created in 2001 as a project for Mark McFarland, James Townsend, Patrick O'Sullivan, and Adam Paoni, music veterans who traded in the 80's/90's club tours for families and day jobs. Their individual influences range from country/folkrock/bluegrass to delta & memphis blues to classic southern rock to pop/stadium rock to alternative/hard rock, which is what makes their original music so intriguing and difficult to describe, other than to know that you like what you hear!  What emerged was a unique musical chemistry and energy between friends who also happen to be very accomplished musicians.  With Adam Paoni taking a sabbatical from his bass duties, the band has brought in veteran bass player Chris Harris.  They defy classification but always bring the "good time" atmosphere with them! With the 2004 debut release "$.99 Buffet", the 2006 release "All The Pieces Matter", and ever-changing covers always paying homage "ED-Style to great songwriters and musicians from all edges of the rock & roll genre, Cousin Eddie has become a froth-filled, smile inducing experience for all that come into contact with them!
